TotalMobile partners with Highland Marketing to launch into UK healthcare market

International mobile expert, TotalMobile, has appointed specialist healthcare marketing and PR agency, Highland Marketing, to support their launch into the UK healthcare market.

Having identified the opportunities and ways its mobile workflow management solution could support NHS provider organisations, TotalMobile recognised the need to work with a strategic PR partner with healthcare expertise. Highland Marketing has therefore been selected to help promote the benefits of the solution by utilising its industry and market knowledge.

The software solution, called the TotalMobile App Platform, draws information from multiple systems to a mobile device, to allow frontline healthcare staff to reduce their time on administrative tasks and travelling, spending more time on patient-related activity. This increases both productivity and quality of care throughout the care pathway whilst delivering efficiency savings.

As part of the launch, Highland Marketing were tasked to develop, lead and deliver a PR strategy aiming to raise the profile of TotalMobile, position the organisation as ‘thought leaders’ in the mobile working and workflow management solutions segment, and promote the App Platform as the ‘solution of choice’ amongst NHS trusts and health boards.

TotalMobile’s head of marketing, Nuala Murphy said: “As an ambitious and fast-growing business, it was vital we selected a PR partner who had an excellent understanding of the complex healthcare marketplace to support our launch.

“The Highland Marketing team have quickly understood how our philosophy is different: supporting the end-user’s normal working practices rather than requiring users to fit around the technology. They have been able to articulate our approach very well through a well-executed PR programme.

“At a time of healthcare reform, there lies real opportunities for innovative technology companies to work with care providers, and Highland Marketing have been instrumental in beginning to raise our profile and have already delivered some impressive media coverage.”

Mark Venables, CEO of Highland Marketing added: “Clearly there is a very big role for mobile technology to play in the future of healthcare, so for us to be able to partner with an organisation such as TotalMobile demonstrates our ambition to continue operating in all areas of healthcare IT.

“We pride ourselves on achieving excellent results for our clients, and it is those results which led us to be appointed by TotalMobile. Our healthcare specific focus in addition to our ever-expanding skilled team of marketing and PR professionals, is what sets us apart in this industry, and will continue to support our growth.”
