Experienced healthcare marketing manager Gemma Thomson joins Highland Marketing

Highland Marketing has appointed Gemma Thomson to support the company’s expansion and growing client base. She joins the team with over 14 years experience as a marketing and communications professional across both B2B and B2C.

Moving to the healthcare industry in 2008, Gemma is a highly experienced manager and her robust project management skills and extensive creative knowledge have proved a key advantage in managing the needs and expectations of commissioning departments and companies. She is process driven and enjoys social interaction and thrives in a challenging environment.

Commenting on her appointment, Gemma said: “I am looking forward to the challenge of moving from client side to agency and using my previous experience as a client to help support the increasing number of contracts Highland Marketing is working on.

“It’s an exciting time for the healthcare industry which continues to change at great speed. At a time when the industry is under increasing scrutiny to ensure it provides the best care using the most appropriate resources, the demand for marketing and PR support has never been greater.”
