Madalene’s career began working on the BBC’s Radio Times but the lure of international travel led to the publicity department of development finance bank CDC and a spell of globetrotting event managing exhibitions around the world. She moved into the heady world of agency pr working for a top 100 PR agency. Madalene has provided PR and marketing communications for corporates, SMEs and entrepreneurs with a focus on consumer technology, 3D printing, healthcare, mental health and wellbeing, social impact ventures, aesthetics, and business awards.

A little about Madalene:
- Madalene has a degree in English and Anthropology, she loved studying English but found Anthropology enlightening.
- She is addicted to swimming outside year-round whether it be pool, river or sea and is working hard on perfecting her front crawl. To be honest the pool wins the day when it comes to winter swimming!
- A lover of world cinema, travel and people with a sense of humour. But not so keen on arrogant humans, drizzle, pinot grigio or rats.
